On 12 December 2019, the Law Society Community Relations Committee (“CRC”) hosted a Christmas Gathering for its members and supporters who have rendered significant support towards the work of the CRC and its four working groups.
The event kicked off with remarks by Mr. Philip Wong, Chairman of CRC, to appreciate the efforts and contributions of the CRC in the past year and encourage members to continually support CRC activities. The event followed by the introduction from representatives of the four working groups under CRC, shared the work done in 2019 and the plans in 2020. One of the highlights of the gathering was the presentation of certificates in appreciation to speakers of school talks and community talks, and writers of Sing Tao column in recognition of their efforts in 2019.
Mr. Benjamin Lee, Assistant Social Work Officer of Social Welfare Department; Ms. Ruby Chan and Mr. Kenneth So, Centre-in-Charge and Assistant Centre-in-Charge of The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong were our guests to share the great time with the 30 participants.
Participants enjoyed the great time with food and Christmas gifts.
